The Saiga 308-1 is a Russian semi-automatic carbine, AK-74M based sporting and hunting rifle manufactured by Kalashnikov Concern (formerly Izhmash). It is renowned for its ruggedness and reliability, combining the heavy-hitting .308 Winchester cartridge with the familiar, battle-tested Kalashnikov platform. Built on a standard stamped AK-style receiver designed to withstand the higher pressures of the .308 Win cartridge. Features a chrome-lined barrel, chamber, and gas tube to prevent corrosion and extend the life of the rifle. Adjustable iron "leaf" sights, paired with a side rail on the receiver to easily mount optics and scopes.
